I have learned some valuable tools to aid me in my recovery. It hasn't been easy. I have struggled through the entire program. However, I never gave up. I persevered even when I wanted to quit and go home.
I appreciate the encouragement I got from my peers and staff. Especially those staff members who took extra time with me.
I know my work doesn't end here. It's a lifelong journey. I have to work hard every day on my recovery. It's a beginning and I am grateful that I have time ahead of me to create a wonderful life.
